You Who Bring Good News: Preaching the Gospel from Isaiah
The prophecy of Isaiah has its finger prints all over the New Testament. His message profoundly shaped the apostolic interpretation of Jesus and his work. So Isaiah can enrich our appreciation of the gospel as well as deepening our understanding of connections between the Testaments. And along the way the book is full of relevance to 21st-century congregations with its big vision of God and his purposes. ‘With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.’ (Isaiah 12:3)
