Irish Preachers’ Conference

Monday 6th – Wednesday 8th January 2014

Preaching the Gospel from 1 KingsGary Millar

Conference Venue: The Royal Hotel, Bray, Co. Wicklow

Conference Speaker - Gary Millar
Conference Speaker – Gary Millar

Where do you turn for help to live for Jesus in the mess of life?  1 Kings probably doesn’t come too high up the list! But perhaps it should! Through the dodgy kings, cranky prophets, terrible decisions, stunning battles, bizarre miracles, kindhearted single mothers and risk adverse civil servants, God speaks right into the chaos of our world. From beginning to end, 1 Kings whispers (and shouts) His name.  In the main sessions we’ll look together at how to preach Christ fans the Gospel from 1 Kings in a way that is driven by the text.  But more than that, we’ll listen to God speak to us, challenging, encouraging and thrilling us, as we brace ourselves for another year of Gospel ministry.”   Gary
